My simple Christmas coffee table display

Gosh! Christmas is next week!
Presents, eggnog, pudding, cream, early morning starts, more pudding, driving, hugging uh, so much to do! Have you finished your shopping yet?
With all the craziness of getting those last minute gifts, I thought I would snap a pic of my coffee table vignette display. It’s quite simple. A beautiful Ecoya candle, another smaller candle in a cup, a ceramic Rococo style box (full of loose change!) a shiny owl and candle holder from Spotlight, an mdf word tree (so cute- was thinking about painting it but it works here plain), some burlap, a collection of dried flowers, a jar of beach sand and some beach coral all on a bamboo tray.

It has a natural and beachy sort of vibe but I’m an hour from the beach. I can dream, right? It needs a bit of umph like some red ribbon, a tiny pine tree or some pine cones. It also would help to have some spritely Christmas cushions in red colourways. Like a red ticking or something. But alas, I’m doing it simple this year so I won’t fuss. It’s just enough to get me in the Christmas mood when I am sitting down watching TV or reading magazines on the sofa. I glance across and voila, I get all pudding eyed.

Here are some other cute displays from Pinterest.com. What do you do to spruce up your home at Christmas? How do you create that Christmas spirit?
