The Night Sky Map That Saved An Anniversary!

The Night Sky Map
My night sky map

I wonder if you are one of those people (like me) who are terrible at anniversary gifts? Let alone

remembering when they are? I seem to remember them 2 weeks in advance and then forget 2 or 3 days before the actual

date. I know, not good wifey stats here! And if YOU are the one that forgets, I bet your partner is always the one saying, “Happy Anniversary darling!”

whilst you are fumbling through stores on Afterpay in the middle of the night…on your phone…on mute…with the brightness turned way down…in bed.

This time, I beat the odds and I can safely say that I came up with the best, super-awesome, life-saving gift OF ALL TIME. And did he love it?

BANG-O-RANG! You see, this star map by The Night Sky is the sky on the day that we first met. Whilst you are saying, “Awe!” I am cashing in on some

serious husband kudos! Yes, it is under these stars that we first met; it is under these stars that we first kissed, and it is under these stars that some of

our friends saw things that they wish they could unsee.

We all get a little sentimental don’t we? A little nostalgic and a little bewildered about our place in the world. But I can truly say, I know my place is with him,

under these stars in our own piece of sky. This is our night sky. (Don’t tell me now that we “share” the sky- tell me tomorrow).

But do you want to know something really creepy? Wouldn’t it be really corny if I said something like, “Yes, the stars really aligned when we met.” Vomit.

Actually, um, the planets did.

The planets aligned when we met. I’m not kidding!

I’m seriously not kidding around here! It turned out that Jupiter, Mercury, the Sun, Mars, Neptune and Venus were aligned on the night we met.

And did my husband go absolutely GAGA when I told him? Hell yes! I am telling you BEST ANNIVERSARY GIFT EVER!

If you want to get your hands on this awesome gift, head over to The Night Sky, share your details and the team will organise your saving grace. Oh, they ship

worldwide too. If you want to know how I checked the planet alignment, I used the Sky Guide app on ios.
