Okay, so I’m not head over heels for this one. Not much tonal interest in this design and some elements are to be explained. Like the over sized side tables. Although, this does account for the tiny BIR they installed! I’m finding it hard to write anything about this room because there is not much to it.
Style: Natural / Neutral?
It’s certainly a very light and bright bedroom, a kind of fresh feeling is felt especially with the hints of blue. If the bedsides were styled better, it would make a bigger difference to the mood created. I do love the large rug and the texture that it portrays. Here is the black and white check on tonal contrast. See how there is not much in it? Feels a bit cold. It almost feels beachy, but half finished. I do love the blue cushion at the front though.
The colour palette consists of creamy brown from the timber elements of the bedsides, the bed and floor, with some lighter natural colours and a pop of green and blue.
